Process Description: A belt filter press is a continuous solid-liquid separation device commonly used for dewatering sludge in municipal, industrial, and agricultural wastewater treatment plants. The process involves feeding conditioned sludge onto a moving porous belt, where water is gradually removed by gravity drainage, followed by mechanical pressure applied through a series of rollers.
